Photograph Recommendations For Picture Montage

• One picture at a time should be planned
  
  
• Loose photos are best; take pictures out of photo albums if possible
  
  
• Grouping photos by using envelopes can help
  
  
• Planning should be in some sort of order. It could be in chronological order (oldest photos first, most recent last), or ordered by events or categories.
  
  
• Every picture should be numbered on the back - A single numbering scheme should be used (e.g. 1 to 100)
  
  
• You can skip numbers if you anticipate adding photos, or use a subscheme (e.g. 100, 101, 101-a, 101-b, 102)
  
  
• When numbering pictures it is safest to use stick on notes on the back - Ink on the back of the photo itself can rub off on the face of the next photo - ruining it
  
  
• Title pages that are going in-between the photos should get a number in the sequence also (e.g Photo(100), Title Page(101), Photo(102))
  
  
• You should compile a playlist of songs for the music in your video montage. The songs should be in the desired order that you want them to play along with the picture numbers that correspond to the song(s).
